As an answer to: can phimosis be the reason for lost erections written by Jay at 27 Jul 2003 09:45:56:
Hi Jay. My apopogies to Jim and Paul, but I really must disagree with them on this one.
I was with a 38 year old man with phimosis who was never able to have an orgasm during sex with a woman. He said it felt like having sex with a glove on and couldn't get enough stimulation to cum. This appears to be what's happening to you because you aren't getting enough stimulation to keep your erection. I bet you masturbate by putting pressure on your frenulum area (under the head of your penis), and you don't get that concentrated pressure during intercourse.
Because his foreskin didn't move, I used lotion to lubricate his penis, (and I was also very wet), but when we attempted to have sex, his foreskin was forced back to expose his glans for the first time in his life. This caused him a great deal of pain, but he just grabbed the skin behind the tight part, and pulled it forward to cover the glans again. This is just to let you know it can happen and what to do if it does.
Please don't ever consider circumcision as a cure because circumcised men end up with the same loss of sensation over the years because of the keratinization layers that form on the glans as it's way of protecting itself, and they aren't able to maintain an erection either. They use foreskin restoration to get back some of the feeling they lost by being cut, but it's never going to be the same as having their original foreskin.
I taught the 38 year old to stretch his foreskin, and that's all you need to do. At first the opening in his foreskin was too small to get his fingers in there to stretch the opening apart, so he stretched it by pulling back towards his body which put pressure on the foreskin at the opening. He did this every time he was going for a pee and also in the bath/shower when the warm water helped the stretching process. Later he used the sideways stretching when he could get his fingers in there. Have a look at the pics from our favourite page.

Picture number 3 is great for stretching tight foreskins, and number 4 stretches tight frenulums. Number 17 and 24 are absolutely drool city....sigh....oh.... where was I? Oh yes.
He has moved back to New Zealand, but kept in contact, and has told me his foreskin works perfectly now, and that the feeling he's experienced in his penis are absolutely incredible, and he's able to cum during sex. He's ecstatic!!
>I am 24 years old and every time i tried having sex with my girl friend i couldnt hold my erections. I do have phimosis, as I discovered from this site....Can this have anything to do with it? Also, if i do get circumsision done, will it help and how long will my glans be sensitive? Finally I want to thank you guys soo much... God Bless you all for bringing this out... I used to feel soo bad, but thank god for you guys
