Hi, I'm 20 years old and as far back as I remember have not been able to retract my foreskin. At 18, I tried to, and managed with much pain, in the past I've tried doing daily exercises, but usually end up stopping them firstly because they are unpleasant, secondly because they seem to be going nowhere and thirdly because I don't really know if I WANT my foreskin to be able to retract anyway. When retracted the head of my penis feels absolutely awful to touch, it sends painful 'electric shock' through me that is almost crippling. Is this because it is overly sensitive due to being locked away behind that foreskin all these years? Is it normal, or have I perhaps got some kind of infection that makes it feel this way.
This whole phimosis ordeal has made me withdrawn around women, I'm losing confidence etc, but the thing is, before I actually discovered that the foreskin was supposed to roll back I was perfectly happy. Would it be wise to seek treatment anyway?
