We've been through Drs and a Urologist ("He has phimosis, there is scar tissue, he needs to be circ'd"--even then I wasn't convinced, but it's evident now with the voiding problem), and I've done a lot of research about this, and it wasn't until just lately that voiding has become a problem for him, i.e. pinhole opening when the foreskin is pulled back, ballooning and spraying even while sitting. I'm so worried for him~ school is just a couple of weeks away, and as a mom, it breaks my heart that he might have a difficult time in school over this just trying to go the the bathroom. He missed several days last year because of the balanitis. I never use soap on his privates. But I think all the swimming has added to the inflamation this summer.

I thought the fungal thing had cleared up~ I'll take him to his ped make sure, and get him on something for that first, if need be. Thank you.

I've been told about the sugar intake connection, but his is normal, and we have no diabetes in our family whatsoever. But I will ask the Dr about that, and the candida as well, thank you.

I was just trying to get a jump start on the steroid therapy, since the Dr is booked for at least a week, and school is starting soon.
