What's going on here

1 - I missed where AJ had been appointed moderator, as he claims - is that so?
2 - Why no posts? - GMT it's around 12:15 a.m. August 14, and there have been no posts for the 13th and only one for the 12th. The screeching halt is scary.
3 - Paul B., my cheeks are red - I will try to participate as much as I can.
