>>Hi,
>>I am in my early 30s and have for the past 2 months had the following symptoms:
>>Tight foreskin (mainly on erection), little cuts in frenulum breve after erection, and the frenulum is a darker color than the rest (and a dark line runs from there to my testicles).
>Usually a darker streak along the skin which has not previously been there is a sign of some sort of infection, local toxic exposure (metals or such), or other unwelcome development. Definitiely a thing to check with the doctor - unless you are engaged in some really unusual masturbation, this should not be a mere bruise.

Gee...look at your own penis and you will find the same dark line...the raphe, where two parts of the body were fused while your body was being formed in utero. It's what differentiates males from females. No doctor necessary, except, perhaps, to explain the process.

>>I have had this maybe once before, last year, but it only lasted a week.
>It's a good sign that it went away the last time without apparent permanent effect. Was it in (your) winter last time as well when it happened? Perhaps your local water system has a problem in winter - if it's the dry season as well, then they could be pumping from sources with more concentrated pollutants which are not totally being removed. Does the streak seem to be directly on top of the urethra? - could be an indication of stuff being carried in your urine and deposited there. Is your urine a fairly normal pale to dark yellow? By the way, these things I'm asking are items to consider as you prepare yourself to go to the doctor - even if you answer them here, and I hope you do, it is extremely unlikely that we will be able to give you any solution over this board, and given the rather disturbing symptom of a long dark streak, I wouldn't hold out for that if I were you.
>>I masturbate regularly and rub the frenulum a lot, although I havent in the past month.
>That sounds a bit painful to me, but to each his own - I can only touch my frenulum quite gently - or at least it's not pleasing if I have to do anything with it firmly. But the point is, that even if you are very rough, what you are describing does not sound like a mere bruise from hard wanking.
>>I have read the website, and am worried I have got relative phimosis or frenulum.
>>I dont use soap in my groin area but always wash it with water and pull back the foreskin (this doesnt cause any problems when flaccid). I tend to have very dry skin in winter (now) and shower in warm-hot water. Does this aggravate the condition?
>>Should I be stretching or using creams or bathing in cold water?
>You can try using colder water and stretching - still the dark streak needs to be explained properly. Since the tightness is of recent onset, and apparently concurrent with the streak, that should be reported as well. Stretching will work, but it may be a Sisyphean (dang - no matter how i try it, that word does not look to be spelled right) job if something is causing tightness. Make sure you address the dryness and cracking with the doctor as well - could be hormonal or changes in body chemistry as well. And consider all the substances your body is exposed to, particularly those that are unique to this time of year.
>>Can the acidic level of urine have anything to do with this? As there is always a few drops left after urinating.
>Well, you can try taking a clean water-moistened paper towel, tissue or washcloth and dabbing away any drops that don't drain. Also I find that some pants don't allow proper drainage, particularly if they do not zip down far enough
>>I read that after urinating I should keep my foreskin back. All comments welcome.
>Hm - I wonder why someone would recommend that - I find the feel of cloth against my glans or the inside of my foreskin to be far too sensitive and irritating. The only reason I can imagine to do that is to allow drops of moisture to dry - I think that dabbing with a damp cloth will be more effective and less annoying.
