The Yahoo groups may be inactive. One did have about 700 members. No controversies or name calling, largely identifying length of time skinned back and initial impetus to start. Some Q & A.
Before the high circ rates in mid last century it was estimated that perhaps 30% of US males born 1900-1930 had adopted the practice of wearing the foreskin behind the glans. Some American Indian tribes did so. Some Japanese and Pacific Islanders would start wearing their foreskins retracted considering it to be a sign of adulthood.
things that could be considered circumcision benefits are gained along with retention of sensitive skin (if you believe sensors are in skin- rather than perhaps being under the skin). Among the plusses would be the appearance of a skinned back penis being nearly identical to circed which may fit in better with those more used to the circed look.
Actually the process consists of putting the foreskin behind the glans and returning it to the behind glans position as soon after it slips as possible.
As was suggested on the forums some mecahnical aids are posible like use of tape or placing of proper siized "O rings" on the retracted skin. Some have used a string wrap. An ace bandage could be placed there. I believe a German firm was manufacturing a leather device to be worn on the retracted foreskin. It is said to help to develop a style of folding the retracted skin to use up the length of it and have it stay better. This make take a few days, weeks, or months or not be possible with some foreskin types. Take care to move skin forward if paraphimotic swelling becomes severe. As you have said a mild swelling may help hold it there. As one who went skinned back at age 12 I can assure you it is a very viable option. You will loose no sensitivity other than the "ouch" type. I would presume that if your attempts at stretching were to be continued too long you might indeed acquire a looseness that would allow the skin to move forward a little too easily and not be able to end up with a predictable forward or back positioning.
The corona of the glans may gain a bit more flare from not being compressed and this will help hold the skin in position, as well as put that coronal ridge where it will get attention.
You may like it. I did.
