Thanks. I should explain that I am not undergoing a circumcision, rather a 'dorsal slit' proceedure(I think its called preputoplasty)- at least this way I get to keep my foreskin (That's what the urologist promised anyway).
I agree that it seems unecessary to have general anesthetic but apparently it's the only way....
