>Thanks. I should explain that I am not undergoing a circumcision, rather a 'dorsal slit' proceedure(I think its called preputoplasty)- at least this way I get to keep my foreskin (That's what the urologist promised anyway).

Last I checked, the dorsal slit just cuts on the top side, parallel to the shaft, and lets the skin droop on both sides, as well as it sews the two layers of the foreskin together -- thus there'll be /no/ such movement as there is on a fully working foreskin or even a very loose (some call that "partial", but the naming is being debated all the time) circumcision: ie. the two layers of skin sliding over each other. But it does retain -- unlike circumcision -- practically every part of the foreskin, including the very tip of it (that wrinkly part sometimes named 'phimotic ring' or 'frenar band'. it's packed full with nerve endings.)

Preputioplasty, as the name says, is plastic surgery on the prepuce, more commonly known as the foreskin. It is about making the end of the foreskin more loose, or I believe that even frenuloplasty can be added under this name, that being practically a part of the foreskin.

I'd suggest you try to find some dorsal slit images and look at them to see if you really want it that way. An unhappy customer is never a good thing.

I'll ask the same as Ivan: have you considered, tried, etc. the non-invasive treatments? If no, why not? If yes, what went wrong? We'd like to know. Your answer can be helpful for many others who come to these boards.
