You need to put what you have read on the Internet in perspective. Stretching (the only alternative to surgery) works in some cases, but not all. In regards to sensitivity, don't believe all that you read. A lot of the information on the internet is anti-circ propoganda and should'nt be treated as an absolute. Even in forums such as this. We had one regular contributor that would post as other people proclaiming he had success with stretching or that he was upset about his circumcision, all the while "advising" people how to stretch in his regular guise (and then sometimes answering himself in the same thread as another person!) Thankfully he no longer contributes here, but it should demonstrate that everything you read on the subject is rarely accurate or true.
>I'm sorry for this rant but I'm very depressed about the whole thing and I was wondering if anyone who's been through something similar could give me some words of encouragement. I really need them.
>Thanks...I'm not sure if it will cheer you up any, but I had a partial circ a couple of years back and am very happy with the results.
Here's a link to my Circumcision Faq that might answer some other questions you might have.
All the best.
