Depends on the person I think, and it would seem to me that a not-at-all retractable foreskin is less prone to cause you pain than a somewhat retractable one. Optimal is the well retractable one --- and it can be achieved easily if you follow the steps I've given to Dan (Who keeps reporting success, but remains just as much afraid as you are now --- despite that I keep telling him there is nothing to fear, especially seeing his results.)
