>>>ive read pretty much all of the info on www.male-initiation.net now and im not really understanding most of it as well its not exactly my penis its my boyfiends. his foreskin has never gone back and he never really developed muich of a habit of masturbation - but when necessary can manually induce ejaculation, and can (not terribly quickly to my advantage) normally ejaculate during sex. it doesnt hurt him and when he went to the docs about it he was told there was nothing to worry about and he was at an advantage. do you think it does require attention and will it remain as it is or eventually stretch as the doctor told him it would. what advice would you offer? any info greatly appreciated, thanks.
>>Well, he seems to be happy with it. You are ahppy with it. The two of you are having mutually satisfying sex, so everything seems good. Yes the stresses of movement during sex (whether vaginal, oral, or any other ways in which it can be stimulated) will cause the foreskin to grow wider gradually. He can work at stretching it to make it grow faster, but why - you both seem happy with the situation. Why is it that people so often cannot accept things being pretty darned good!?
>Opinions could differ sometimes. I think it’s not a desirable situation if the foreskin is not retractable at all. Cleaning the glans and corona is impossible then. That’s a big hygienic disadvantage. Also the lack of feelings of the glans is not very pleasant. I myself would never accept such a situation. There are sufficient possibilities to change it. Both man and woman will certainly have more satisfaction using a penis with a normal foreskin. At least try stretching. A doctor who’s telling that it isn’t important is ignoring severe potential problems. I would never visit such a doctor again.

Harmen, there are several particulars of your post with which I must take issue. Just because the foreskin is completely unretractable does not mean that he cannot get water in underneath it. That is all that cleaning takes. If there were signs of infestion or growths on the glans, the doctor certainly would have said something. Indeed if it was unwashable, the man's girlfriend would have long ago told him it stunk. If water gets out when he pees, then water can get in to clean.

Also the doctor did not say it wasn't important, according to the post. He examined it, he heard the description of the sexual history, and he said it was nothing to worry about, and that with use it would stretch. By no means is that saying that his penile health and function is not important. It is saying that the guy's penis was healthy and working already, and that the stretching would occur over time. From what we were told the doctor is not to be avoided but to be kept - he did not try to induce the fellow into anything drastic, but rather assessed the situation and put it into a healthy perspective. He is healthy (no infection); he is having a good sex life; the doctor has looked the situation over and said he is fine and he will stretch with time and usage. Why try to scare these folks with your armchair diagnosis!?
