Scrotum/ penis pain

I hope you don't mind this rather awkward inquiry. About 10 - 11 months ago i suffered a back injury when lifting a heavy sack. My legs gave way after something 'went' in my back. I suffered shock from the pain and was off work for 3 weeks whilst the pain abated and i regained full movement. For the next four months my lower back was stiff and i experienced referred pain in the top of my left thigh. Then after beginning a new relationship i started to experience pain and discomfort in the groin area. This manifests as general discomfort to the scrotum and the perineum and occasional bouts of what feels like a feint fast muscle spasm of the penis, almost like a tingling vibration.

I am finding this quite disturbing. My question is whether or not you have ever come across these symptoms and whether there could be a link to my back injury?

If you are able to offer any advice i would be extremely grateful.
