As an answer to: Re: Permanently retracted foreskin written by Ivan at 06 Nov 2003 19:31:45:

>>>Who else who is uncircumcised keeps their foreskin permanently retracted? How long have you been doing it for? Has your foreskin began to shrink due to lack of use?

>>I’m doing it for many years now. The foreskin is a little bit shorter than before, but not much. Before I kept it retracted permanently my foreskin could cover the head completely when erect. That’s impossible now.

Like many others, my foreskin at first always remained unretracted, even with erections, and resisted attempts to retract even though it was not still attached or tight.
With more frequent induced retraction, it began to self retract upon erection, but not otherwise. With permanent retraction, begun about age of puberty, it eventually became accustomed to either position about equally. From then on, it began to resist attempts to unretract, the opposite of before. As the penis continued to grow, the foreskin seemed to atrophy, at least in relation to the rest of the penis, like the other guy's comment here, so that it can no longer be unretracted. In my case, this whole process required persistence, and I wonder if it would have been easier if I, or my parents, had started on it sooner. In another forum, one man said his mother retracted his foreskin at age 6 months, and it became permanent from that time. He then did the same for his two sons, so none of them ever really knew or missed their foreskins.
