It wasn't near as bad as what I expected. I wish I would have corrected my problem when I was your age, since I was aware of the problem at that time. If you allow your circumstances to continue unattended, you could suffer other complications such as paraphimosis for example. I strongly recommend you take the inititive to contact your doctor. Circumcision is not required for solving some tightness in the foreskin.
