Post surgery I had the same problem. Only initally though. I think it took about a week for the stream to calm down and return to a more normal...er...stream. Another thing I found was that I could stand a lot further back from the loo and still hit the target. This too, however, went back to a distance I was more used to, though it did take a little longer.
