My original circumcision as a baby healed incorrectly. The remaining foreskin healed to the glans causing erectile pain and pulling the erection to the right violently.
I had this corrected two years ago and I am still not fully healed.
Intercourse with my wife causes the section that was cut to reopen and is very painful. Needless to say, this is having an adverse effect on our sex life.
My theory is that the tissue that is there now is not as thick as what was there before, and is causing the tears. There are times, during the nightly sleep erections, when the skin tears of it's own accord causing me to wake up.
This started three months post op after I was given the go ahead to resume our sex life. When asked about this, the doctor prescribed an anti-venerial disease drug, and basically ignored what I was telling him.
My question to you, is this:
1) Is what's happening to me normal?
2) If it is not, what can be done to correct this?Thank you for your time.
