foreskin +ejaculation

Funny question maybe, but when the penis is erect, how far back is the foreskin meant to go? - is it meant to stay in that position or is it meant to spring back to cover the glans? My foreskin is a bit tight when erect but only causes pain when I ejaculate when the skin is pulled back behind the head. Can I avoid this when I have intercourse? or will the skin always be pulled behind the head when I ejaculate inside the woman? please help.
