As an answer to: almost there... written by e at 28 Dec 2003 09:23:14:
>ive been stretching now for over a year and feel like i am finally coming to a point where i could possibly pull enough so that the foreskin is fully retracted. i have oftentimes felt like my glans was about to almost "jump" out when i pull the foreskin tight enough, and it doesnt hurt, just feels somewhat strange. i am worried, however, about paraphimosis as it has much worse scenarios than phimosis as it is. when will i know that it is time to pull back the foreskin enough to expose the full glans? when i have an erection it is much tighter at the tip than when i don't, and i imagine it would be quite painful to fully expose the glans when i have an erection. well any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. thanks very much!
If you allow me to criticise you a little, I'll say that if it took you so long, you were either lazy or didn't do it properly. No problem, I'm just nitpicking.
As for paraphimosis, I'm sure that many things you've heard about it are actually scaremondering instead of information. It's nothing too horrible, especially when one knows how to treat it. If the skin indeed gets stuck and you can't just simply push it forward, do not panic. There is an easy, simple, although perhaps a bit painful (your mileage may vary) solution. Simply squeeze the head of your penis, so that the blood that fills it is forced to flow out of it. With this, the head should become small enough that the foreskin can be easily or easier pulled forward.
As for stretching, here is a bit of how I phrased it for someone else:
So... do you remember your child years? I bet pretty much everyone has at least a couple of times pulled their own lips with their fingers and stuck a tongue through it or something like that. It has recently occured to me that these are vaguely similar actions. If you remember, when you held it in tension for long, it would get perhaps a bit uncomfortable after a while, perhaps a little red, but otherwise you'd just feel tension --- the same goes for the foreskin (although much less force is needed): you pull it outwards and hold it in tension for a while. It might get a little sore after longer sessions, but that shouldn't be a problem. Do avoid sharp pain though. (At this note, you might want to make sure there is no friction between the foreskin and the head --- that can be quite a bit painful for the untrained penis head; but as long as there isn't such thing occuring, the stretching should be painless) [ ARC forum 2 ]
All I'm trying to emphasise is that it's not enough to pull only forwards, it's also necessary to stretch it circumferentially, thus as if you would try -- in Ivan's words -- open a pillowcase when trick-or-treating.--
