I'm in a fairly identical situation to DB currently. It is a bit confusing as to where to go from here. Some say it's nigh on impossible to stretch the frenulum and it must be ripped or solved by a frenuloplasty. Others say stretching may work over time.
Anyone know roughly what kind of time period we are talking about to see good results from stretching the frenulum?
Currently when I retract the foreskin while erect it fully clears the glans but goes little further and tends to bunch up behind the head. It simply won't go back any further without the kind of pain that makes me think something bad might happen.
I've been considering a frenuloplasty, but am curious as to whether it is worth all the inconvenience of the stitches and protecting the wound afterwards. Are there any cosmetic benifits to surgery rather than ripping? (ie. will ripping leave scars or loose skin).
I guess I'd just like a list of pros and cons to each method from folks who have been through it.
Dave.
