Finally seeking advice after 30 years

This is my first post here.

I am 30 years old and I am not able to retract the skin over behind the head. I can pull the skin back partially (about 1/4 to 1/2 of the way) but anything more is too painful and causes any erection to go away.

I haven't seeked advice on this matter until now because I wasn't sexually active (ie. sleeping with women - I want to save my virginity for that one special woman). But now that I'm serious about getting married and having children, I'm now concerned about my condition. Next week, I am going to see my doctor to get some advice and treatment.

The last thing I want is a circumcision. This website and board has been helpful in easing some of my concerns and providing me with information. If there is anything I should know before going to my doctor, I would greatly appreciate any advice.
