You can try vitamin E oil which you rub into the scar area once or twice a week. (it will cause some redness initially).
Other than that, there are really no magic solutions. YOu have to give the scar time to shrink.
Instead of Vitamin E, you can try Mederma, which is supposedly equivalent but more expensive.
