>>When my son was born my husband and i both decided against circumcision and foreskin retraction was nearly impossible(around 5). We asked our doctor and he said that simple streaching was all we must do to losen his foreskin.
> My son is 9 now and by doing gentle foreskin retraction his glans stay bare and his father and i dont have to always keep checking for dirt and grime under his foreskin. He plays football and said the other boys keep their skin back as well(i figure the boys are circumcised)but if someone didn't know any better they would think he was. The doc did say one thing, as parents check your child at least once a week to make sure the skin doesn't get stuck behind the glans(that could lead to being circed)something neither he nor i want. I hope this helps parents decide that a foreskin is a little more work but from what ive read its worth it. Besides i couldn't bare to let them cut my son for no reason. With retraction it stays clean and dry but he still has his skin, also many of my friends had their sons circed so by keeping your sons skin pulled back he will never look differnt from his friends(and if he does all he needs to do is pull the skin back over the glans). Parents, let me know its going with your sons or if you would even concider something like this. Personally i think it stays cleaner and looks better. While the number of uncircumcised men that can and do wear their forskins retracted is not a majority, there are many men that do have the forskins worn behind the glans either due to shortness of the foreskin or in many cases because of preference. In some cultural or family groups it is the expected thing especially to be started generally a little before puberty. It has beeen said that with some Japanese it is considered a sign of adulthood.
There are a few doctors that do endorse getting the ability to retract operative as soon as it can be without force.
You are fortunate to have established this with your son. It does provide better cleanliness, reduces disease potential by eliminating moistness. If you are in a part of the world with a high circ rate the "skinned back" male would be less subject to taunting by his peers, and there would be less shock for future female companions that might be mainly used to circumcised males in their families or acquaintance. It would be obvious that oral sex would be more willingly given.
It is a great benefit that your son is far less likely to have any of the potential foreskin problems like phimosis, paraphimosis, excessive sensitivity, balanitis, itching, etc. I only wish more parents could do as you have done.
Some would suggest that it is detrimental to expose the glans thus, but it is not true. Just because the painfulness of the first exposure of the glans moderates doesn't mean that useful sensitivity for pleasure or orgasm is reduced.
I note you are even accused of lying or a fictional post. This is quite typical of some folks that have no facts on their side and rely on slandering.
