Thinking about it my previous post did sound a lot like a promotion for a circumcision, which it was.
For alternatives consider that complete healing and adjustment can take a while and that it continues for a long period- you may just need more patience
(easy to say). In addittion to the creme your doctor provided things like vitamin E applied topically and keeping the surface oily or moisturized may contribute to softening of trhe scar tissue. Perhaps using something like a plastic bag held on with a rubber band to retain the softening healing agent.
Massging and kneading the scar area gently would help but this takes time.I would venture to say that your problems could be lessened by lesser surgery than a full circ by widening the slit and tapering the cut side to extent wider toward the tip, in essence becoming a partial circ with little or no removal from the lower side. Could be considered a diagonal circ. The result would leave the glans mainly exposed but would preserve more foreskin. Could be considered a "diagonal circ". This would alleviate the tightness you now experience. There has been at least one MD that did his infant circs in this manner. There's a pic on circlist "an unusual circ". No doubt you would have a hard time getting a Dr to do what *you* want even though you will be paying him!
Perhaps AJ could comment. I believe he has a "partial circ'. I am quite convinced that- provided your mind hasn't been brainwashed that either of three ways works about equally well: intact normally covered, circed, or skinned back intact. And IMO the skinned back being slightly the best!
