As an answer to: retraction problems written by S.N at 06 Feb 2004 19:28:56:
Q: I am a 26 ... able to easily retract the foreskin when not erect, but when ... erect, it is very sensitive and painful and I lose my erection almost immediately. I masturbate fequently with the foreskin covered and ... ejaculate very quickly without the penis being fully erect. I am really concerned about these two problems. I do not think i have phimosis, but I may have frenulem breve.

A: It sounds more like phimosis than frenulum breve to me. The only way I can see it could be the latter is if your penis grows quite a bit longer with erection, causing an otherwise adequate frenum to become too short. I disbelieve answers about stretching it. Unlike the foreskin or other elastic skin, the frenum is more likely to tear than to stretch. I did exactly that during rough sex when I was younger, but never had trouble wth it afterwards. Others have cut theirs. If you are up to the task and can take a little pain (but it's just a picece of hard skin, not rich in blood veins or nerve endings, unlike other skin).
For phimosis, the treatment would be different. This is a great forum to find out either, ad you can find two posts of mine about these two problems under "Foreskin Attached" and "Foreskin NOT Attached" in the boys puberty forum at teencentre.net.
Losiing erection before you finish is a sexual dysfunction and can ruin your sex life as well as your health. It may be the result of fear of pain, or the actual pain or discomfort that you have because your foreskin is not fully and properly functional and your penis head is therefore hypersensitive from not getting adequate exposure. At your age, you want to do something about this without delay.
