It sounds reasonable. Afterall, things do change over time.

I'm a big supporter of getting in contact with your doctor to get an accurate diagnosis. However, sometimes they don't seem to know what they are talking about and/or are too dismissive and perhaps too pro-circ. If you were to visit your doctor about this, he might be able to discuss with you the pros and cons of all the various treatments and solutions. If you didn't feel you were getting the best help, then you could seek a second opinion.
