I'm aware that something needs to be done, that's why I plucked up the courage to post to the messageboard in the first place.

I was rather seeking advice on whether what I was experiencing required surgery or could be treated in some other manner. The post I quoted seemed to suggest that some sort of infection could have prompted the growth of my foreskin over the last few years.

FWIW I'm continuing with the stretching - I'm planning on broaching this subject with my Doctor soon - hopefully I'll see some improvement in the coming weeks.
