This applies to what you're talking about as well as the inability to handle nude or topless beach situations. It goes ridiculously to horror over an accidentally unzipped fly- even with shirt tails and shorts preventing any view.
As one of a half dozen uncirced in my HS gym class I never noticed any retraction and washing, nor have I ever seen washing in spite of the desirability or necessity of it. How does it get done?
I agree that all persons should have that amount of modesty which would apply to not leering at someone else, yet one should be able to accept the nude body- with whatever variations there are.
