Different with every person. You could be ready with as short as one month's time, or you could take three months. Doesn't really matter all that much, as long as there is progress.

Differs from person to person, I have not seen anyone with my own two eyes whose did that unless they were very well lubricated (say, mine does it rarely when I'm really horny and am almost bathing in precum).

Doubtful that it matters. I see you're in the UK, I would expect girls to find foreskins the usual. And I've encountered quite an amount of British folks who had phimosis so I'd say girls would be "used to that" as well :P
