just found out about Phimosis today

Well I am 21 years old. Just today I have realized that I have phimosis. I am kinda scared right now but reading this forum has really helped. My case is relatively severe because I cannot even pull the foreskin back when flaccid.

Its kinda sad because the way I found out was by watching porn. I would see that when the skin was pulled back, the head would be exposed. I have always masturbated by rubbing the head and not with a back and forth stroking motion. I tried to pull the skin back in a flaccid state but it doesnt even start to go back. I can barely see the tip.

I am hopefully going to set up an appointment with a dermatoligist and try to get a prescrition for Bethamethasone .05% and do the stretching exercises. Hopefully after a few weeks of that, I see some progress.

This is really freakin me out. I kinda hope I dont have to go through some sort of examination with a ureologist and that the dermatologist will write me a prescrition.

My dad is actually a doctor but I am kinda embarrassed/weirded out about having to talk to him about it. I was born in India and its not common practice circumcize there.
