Other than the stitches pulling from time-to-time, there wasn't really that much pain. The head was hyper sensitive and uncomfortable when it rubbed against clothing etc., but that calmed down after a couple of weeks.

There have been plenty of "studies" into this phenomena, some state a similar claim while others dismiss it. A lot of it is anti-circ propoganda.

You'll probably find that you have some more bleeding during the first night or two.

It will probably look worse in the morning once the bruising comes out. Don't worry though, that will soon clear up.
