Howdo all
Like some I've seen post on here, for me, the whole idea of retracting the foreskin recently came as a bit of an embarrassing bombshell quite late in life. (mid twenties). Hadn't been particularly sexually active bar a few fumbles years ago, and a heavy cannabis habit meant I wasn't particularly motivated anyway. Around Christmas discovered retraction, and obviously found it quite difficult. Did some occasional stretching, (I'm not very disciplined, and I know I'd do better with a stricter regimen) but mostly retract while urinating and in shower etc - even with this small amount of stretching I've seen good results. I didn't use any creams. I can now retract fully behind the glans when erect (even if it is a little tight), but no further than that.
My basic question, I suppose, is this - is being able to retract to just behind the glans while erect 'enough' or 'normal', or should you be able to retract fully down the shaft. That's basically it. I don't know at this stage if I'm worrying unnessecarily.
I did go to a few doctors a little while back (a couple of GP's and a urologist) and they seemed to imply that there's nout wrong, and that IF there was, the solution is a circumcision. (how they came to this conclusion without actually seeing the erection, I don't know).
I have a feeling that the fact I can't retract much further than behind the glans may be due to a short frenulum rather than phimosis, but I sure as hell can't find a doctor who'd perform a frenuloplasty rather than a full on circ, which I don't particularly want.Any thoughts would be appreciated (sorry for the rambling post)
Cheers,
JD
