Appreciate the responses, guys. Any stretching I've done to date hasn't been focused on the underside of the foreskin, or in 'pulling forward', more on purely widening the actual circumference of the foreskin's opening, if you get what I mean. (To the point where I can now fit four fingers).
This is what's a little worrying, though, in a way. Maybe it wasn't phimosis at all, (my having arrived so late to the conclusion that the foreskin could retract at all, it just needed gentle coaxing for a few months) but still, can't retract past the glans, even though the opening now seems OK.So, to return to my original basic question (this is something I haven't been able to find a definitive answer on - maybe there isn't one), for full manual retraction, should you be able to retract fully down the shaft?
