It would be useful to get a professional diagnosis to ascertain exactly what is preventing your foreskin from retracting. A lot of people use phimosis as a blanket term to describe the condition when in fact it could be the frenulum that is causing the problem or something else. Don't fret though. However you determine what the problem is - circumcision is not always neccessary. Depending on what the cause is, there are several surgical alternatives and solutions such as partial circumcision, dorsal slit etc (see the site that hosts this forum for more information).
In terms of natural ways to resolve the problem you could try "stretching" the foreskin (again, assuming the foreskin is the problem and not the frenulum), but stretching does not guarentee success.
If you visit a doctor he can prescribe you a steroid cream which will greatly improve your chances of resolving the problem without the need for surgery.Good luck.
