tight foreskin,can't have sex!

This problem isn't that easy to explain,but i'll try anyway, when i'm not erect i can pull my foreskin back just past the head,but it gets stuck and i hjave to pull it back myself,when i'm erect,its even harder to retract my foreskin past the head,but when it does,it becomes very tight and is very hard and sensitive to pull it back over the head. Masturbation has never been a problem but sex is near impossible.the foreskin gets forced back during sex and becomes very painful.is there anything i can do to solve this?my doctor says circumsizion is the only way
