Ok so a few days on and for anyone contemplating the op themselves and interested in a real life experience - here's my latest update.It got infected :( which is not very nice. Unfortunately I noticed the infection on a saturday - but the doctors isn't open at a weekend. So by monday it was really quite infected. I've got antibiotics now (amoxcillin).
The infection has made the pain much greater, especially during the night - waking up with an erection is agony right now!
But i'm told the anti-biotics should kill the infection within a week. I'm glad I have this week off work!
