post op infection?

My circumcision has become infected - I had the op 8 days ago. There's a lot of yellow discharge etc around the wounds. I saw a doctor 4 days ago and have been taking antibiotics for 3 days.

Did anyone else have this? How long did it take to clear up? Is this a serious complication?

I have a wound check appointment with the nurse tommorrow so hopefully she'll be able to answer my questions too.
