The lab found that I had an "staph. aureus" infection, that required the antibiotic flucloxacillin. Well the new antibiotics are working, and it's starting to clear up. My concern now is that there is a scab where the infection was (on the base of my penis, leading from the glans to the shaft - ie. where the frenulum was I assume). - I hope it doesn't leave too much scarring. Oh well, only time will tell that one.
