>My frenulum just ripped and blood went everywhere. My girlfriend just fell asleep and I've been up reading about frenulum breve which is what I think I have. Do I neccessarily need surgury? My frenulum is (was) thin (luckily) but still high up on my penis. I was having sex when it just ripped out and I felt a lot of pain. I was really confused (as was my girlfriend who has had sex with me a lot before). The foreskin usually hurts a little when I pull it back but I thought that was just because my penis is somewhat larger than normal when errect and my girlfriend is fairly small.
When you pull back manually, outside your girlfriend, at what point would it start to hurt? I’m not really talking about “right now”, because having been in the situation of ripping one’s frenulum, I know it was quite tender for a while!
So, in the past, did it bend the head downwards seriously, and, when did it start to hurt, while pulling back?
> I guess that wasn't the reason after all and I am one of about 5% of the uncircumsized population that suffers from frenulum breve. Anyway, I looked at it after the bleeding died down a bit and there is basically a one milimeter crevace in the bottom of my penis where my frenulum was and there is some skin there hanging. I read an article on the web that said that if the frenulum is thin and it rips, the skin receds into the flesh of the penis. After it ripped I saw some hanging skin which I just sort of pulled off. Nontheless, does anyone know if I'll need surgery or I can just wait for it to heal. Also, what are the risks of bacterial infection? Should I be cleaning it in a certain way.
