Bleh, sorry about that, my browser interpreted the Enter key in the wrong way again!
Let’s see about the second part.
> I guess that wasn't the reason after all and I am one of about 5% of the uncircumsized population that suffers from frenulum breve. Anyway, I looked at it after the bleeding died down a bit and there is basically a one milimeter crevace in the bottom of my penis where my frenulum was and there is some skin there hanging. I read an article on the web that said that if the frenulum is thin and it rips, the skin receds into the flesh of the penis. After it ripped I saw some hanging skin which I just sort of pulled off. Nontheless, does anyone know if I'll need surgery or I can just wait for it to heal. Also, what are the risks of bacterial infection? Should I be cleaning it in a certain way.
Cleaning: no, and don’t use soap on the inside, anyway. Just water is fine.
General use: let it heal. Try not to masturbate or have sex for a while (until it heals), and then be gentle for another while (it’s going to be tender for a couple weeks). That's about it.
No, I don’t think you’d need any surgery there.
