Just because you have the ability to retract yourself whilst stiff, doesn't mean that you're automatically going to enjoy a toss or penetrative sex that way. Your foreskin going back is purely physical, how you enjoy a wank is a combination of physical and psychological stimulation.
If your wank feels best whilst the foreskin is forward, then, by all means, mate, do it that way. It's your willy, do things the way it feels best.
