Can I have a partial circ?

I have a full phimosis caused by & coupled with BXO. It formed fully about 2 years ago, with the foreskin becoming progressively less retractable up to then. After lots of reading of your website, I have over the last 6 months or so seen 2 NHS Urology consultants with the hope of getting a partial circ. Both of them were willing to give me a full circ, which I don't want, but neither would consider a partial. One said I had no option but a full circ, the other said he had never performed a partial, & that i may have more scar tissue on the inside of the foreskin which could cause a paraphimosis (a weak argument I thought, as I clearly have no tight skin anywhere other than the phimotic ring), and that he would only give me a full circ. I gathered from info here that I could ask for a partial (or whatever type I wanted?), but it seems that at least these 2 consultants weren't willing (or able?) to give me anything other than a full circ. Am I mistaken in thinking that a partial is feasible in my case?
