I'd like to remind you on two things. First, your problem can still be solved with just retracting the foreskin and letting it rub to your underwear and endure. If you get circumcised, there is no turning back and there is also no way you can get a rest from the rubbing — and if it is so painful as you describe, I bet you’ll wish at some point you could just stop it for a moment. This sensitivity will lessen — whether you brute-force it or are gentler to yourself is really up to you, I just hope you’re not masochistic.
The second one is what I’ve been babbling around here for a while. Urologists are mainly surgeons and their main field of practice is very easily deductible from the name: they deal with the problems of all things related to the urinary part of the secretion system. The fact that they are surgeons doesn’t make them bad people, I’m not trying to suggest that — however, for chit-chat, a GP is probably much more prepared, and I could also suggest eventually visiting a dermatologist, since they are those people who deal with “surface” such as skin. I’m well aware that the glans is not covered by skin but rather mucus, however someone specialised in skin matters might just find something there that’s actually wrong — and moreso a solution, instead of throwing the problem away.
If you’ve really made up your mind, fine. I won’t and can’t stop you, but don’t say I didn’t try to warn.
