What you’re describing is not the frenulum, just to clear up the terminology (on the frenulum page I showed earlier, that little bit inside [on the first pic], and the line [on the second pic], that’s the frenulum).

>i'm not sure if it's caused by swelling due to the sudden change or if it actually is the extra foreskin making the rather large 'fleshy tube'
>also, just below the frenulum, there seems to be a tiny bit of bleeding and it hurts to move around the head, so if i try to push the skin forward, i might be hit with immnense pain.

I’m very well aware of that. Actually, I wonder why you hadn’t pushed it forward earlier, when you realised it’s not okay. (Especially that the head is sensitive, as you described in the first post, and that it’s uncomfortable.)

>so the question is....should i wait a few more days and see if the swelling (if indeed it is) is calm down and begins to reduce its size, and THEN try to pull the skin over the head??...

It won’t reduce in size by itself. It’s swollen right because it’s tight and was forced and kept behind the head.

Take up the courage and press the blood out of the head, making sure you don’t rub it. Then push the foreskin forward while the head is small, and leave it so until the swelling passes. It should do so in a couple days.

No, not until you do something about it.
