Ralesk is to be commende for doing an excellent job of guiding you through this. You apparently had a considerable amount of paraphimotic swelling, which at its worse can be even more drastic and damaging than the discomfort you experienced. In fact much of the advice given by the medical community is very strong for "immediately returning the foreskin forward" as soon as possible to reduce the chances for Paraphimosis to occur. On the other side of the fence there are uncircumcised men all over the world that do wear the foreskin retracted of their choice. The reasons being it is easier to keep clean, emulates the appearance of a circ, which to many is a sexier look. It also is more accepted by gals whose brothers, et care circed because it looks quite similar.
So Jim Bob, you actually have 3 choices: keep the foreskin forward, wear the foreskin retracted if it adapts to that position with less swellings as it becomes adapted to that placement, or end all potential foreskin problems by removing the foreskin. There are good points to each way. Foreskins are well adapted to providing an ideal pressuring, crinkling, massage to the corona that feels good and leads to orgasm by hand. As mentioned they often can be adapted to stay behind the glans either "permanently" or convertibly either position. This is easier to keep clean, provides less damp sheltered area between skin and glans for disease organisms to flourish. Candida infections occur mainly in the female, but can occur in the uncircumcised male. Once your paraphimotic problem has been worked through you would hardly be expected to have a reoccurance if the skin ends up adapting to being behind the glans. Men who keep the foreskin always forward are capable of getting paraphimosis if a nurse has to catheterize them and then doesn't pull the foreskin forward.
>>i'm seeing a specialist soon to talk about me getting circ.
>>i'm not sure about this but probably WILL be getting it..
>Why? First of all, as soon as the swelling will be gone, it will most surely be less tight as the result of having been swollen
>>so could you just explain any pros and cons of circ so i could make a good decision?...
> Everyone will tell different things. Some will go on and praise how getting circumcised made them the happiest person in the whole world, some will say the opposite. This is correct. Some people are so strongly anti circumcision that they actually induldge in making any circed person they can convince that they are missing something and making them feel bad in general. So naturally once thus browbeat and brainwashed sex will not be enjoyable.
I've experienced all three ways- intact covered to age 12, skinned back till age 42, loose circe for over 35yrs after that. No sensitivity problems (infact the coronal edge where most orgasmic triggering comes from is better triggered with less insulation by foreskin).
