Hi Ralesk,
Thanks for your reply.
>>Question: Is there a way to determine if I have a circ or 'just' a foreskin >>that is stuck behind my glans??
>If you were/are bandaged, have a scar where you didn’t have one before, you >have then been circumcised. If not, chances are that your foreskin is stuck >behind the glans, in which case it would be the best if you got it forward as >soon as possible.Sorry, my question was very poorly explained.
I have always thought that circumcised meant that a part of the foreskin was cut of, so much that it simply couldn't be moved forward to cover the glans. Am I right?
In my case, the foreskin has been cut all the way around, behind the phimosis ring. What is left of the foreskin is currently retracted right behind the glans. And yes, I have stitches all the way around the foreskin. So in medical terms, this must be a circumcise (?).
What I really meant by my question was if there was a way to find out if my foreskin should be able to be moved forward, without actually doing it. Moving my foreskin forward is currently not possible. Just tried again, and two docs tried last week without luck. The strange thing is that both the surgeon that examined me, and the surgeon that did the surgery, said that moving the foreskin forward after the operation would be possible.
I know that this question might very well be impossible to answer. That doesn't really matter now, because tomorrow (monday) I'll see my doc again, and request (no, _order_!) that this issue must be dealt with now. My doc will then have to call the surgeon, or whatever is needed to figure this out.Perhaps I should mention that the foreskin retracted behind the glans isn't that tight, I can get erection without pain or feeling 'pressure'.
