It was similar to getting strong soap in the eyes. I know the tender feeling you're talking about. There is sort of a similarity, but the ultrasensitivity of the rarely retracted fellow is more pronounced. With regular retraction for peeing, cleaning (fresh water only, please), and sexual activities, the painful sensitivity subsides.
