As an answer to: Re: glan sensitivity written by David R at 03 May 2004 07:13:37:

>>when people who have not been circumcised say the head of their penis is ultra sensitive, or hurts to touch, does that mean it is that feeling after you have ejaculated and its very sensitive to the point where sometimes it is not necessarily pleasurable to touch, and the nerves feel extremely sensitive, but not necessarily pleasurable
>>> Nope. They are generally referring to the sensitivity of touching the glans itself. Much is made of "glans sensitivity" by the uncircumcised, as if to mean that the glans of the uncircumcised "feels more" as in a pleasurable erotic way. It does actually feel more but it's analagous to the feeling of discomfort that you get when you rub a superficial burn on your skin. It hurts and is NOT an erotic feeling! Thus, increased pleasure?- no! The circumcised penis does not usually transmit to the brain direct stimulation of the glans as "pain" whereas many uncircumcised men feel ANY direct touch or rubbing of the glans as very unpleasurable. Indeed, as I can make the comparison, having beeen cut as an adult- and many years now of comparing both states, the post orgasmic glans does not generally like direct stimulation, circumcised or not, but the uncircumcised male will equate any direct stimulation ot the glans even before ejaculation as comparable to the hypersensitivity of the post ejaculatory glans of the circumcised.
>Circumcised men can tolerate many different forms of direct penile stimulation- prior to orgasm- that the uncircumcised male will simply not be able to tolerate pre or post orgasm.

Of course, he means that when uncircumcised, you shouldn’t rub the glans with your hand. We don’t really hear billions of men complain about feeling “burning, very uncomfortable, or even painful sensations” while having sex.
