>>>i was circumcised at birth, and am sensitive deep in the penis where the frenulum was, but i dont seem to have a frenulum, what does this mean, did it not develop or was it cut off
>>>> No, a neonatal circumcison does not remove the frenulum. It does not develop as a ridge of skin though possibly because the blood supply to that area is interrupted- but that is a supposition rather than a proven fact-, but the nerve endings remain intact. Many uncircumcised men don't think that the frenulum is particularly interesting so if you don't get special pleasure from the mucosa in the V of the glans- where the frenulum lies-, do not despair.
>actually where i think the frenulum would be there is a very very small place on the skin kind of like where there could be scar tissue, but it is not as thick as even a thread, and it runs in the direction the frenulum should run, but kind of rises out of the skin and then disappears again, it is no longer than oh maybe 1/8 of an inch could this be something of the frenulum? is there any way to tell if a frenulum was removed during a circumcision as a baby?i forgot to mention, where the frenulum is supposed to be ( that v area), it is sort of numb to the light touch (kind of like a scar is), but heavier touch is definately more sensitive than the rest of my penis, i can say it is a hot spot. is the numbness to light touch normal since i have been circumcised?
