Hi, I am a diabetic, not fully circumsized and about twice a year, the foreskin around my penis gets extremely tight. There is nothing consistant about when it happens. The first time it happened I was 28 yrs old and my sugar was around 650 and stayed that high for about three months before I found out I was diabetic. When I went to the doctor, all he could tell me was it was a yeast infection. My doctor then referred me to an Urologist and he said I needed a "butterfly" incision to release my penis. The question I have is: Is this related to diabetes? Question 2: Is the "butterfly" a good idea? (When my penis is erect, there is no extra skin there.) I would greatly appreciate any input on this.
