Undergo or not surgery?

After knowing this great resource for solving doubts I had been wondering about, I come here to ask you guys one question. I 'm 26 already and although I'm aware of having the "phimotic ring", it hasn't caused me any problem considering the fact that I'm passive homosexual and no problems as infections or any other occurence have been observed. I haven't seen a doc yet but I'd like to have an opnion from any of you if I could simply stay this way without undergoing any surgery or maybe postpone it a while before seeing an urologist.
Besides I was wondering if there are really many guys above 20 years of age with any of such problems ?!
